Call for Papers

Volume 5, Issue 1: March 2015

 American Journal of Social Issues and Humanities welcomes authors to submit their original research papers for their forthcoming issue, the March 2015 issue. The submitted papers will be blind reviewed and will require a positive report from the reviewer in order to be considered for publication.

AJSIH is an international platform for Social Scientists, Bioethical Scholars, Scholars in Humanities and Scholars involved in all kinds of Research to publish their research findings. This journal encourages interdisciplinary articles which bring together scientific advances from many scientific fields. Studies related to various aspects of social issues, problems, conflicts and solutions broadly covering ethical/bioethical issues, gender/class issues, sexual, orientation/preferences, and race/ethnicity issues. The journal aims to cover all aspects of societal and humanities issues involving the human studies, economics, business, education, environment, geography, policy, politics, law, psychology, sociology, religion, and philosophy.

Papers will be published within 1-2 months after acceptance and all articles will be peer-reviewed by subject specialists. The journal's objective is to inform authors of the Editors' decision on manuscript(s) within four weeks of submission.

The following types of original papers are considered for publication:

  • Articles on basic and applied research
  • Short Communications
  • Critical reviews
  • Opinions
  • Commentaries and essays

Manuscripts must not be under review elsewhere or have appeared in any other published form. Manuscript or research papers should either be sent as an email attachment to or through the online submission system at, for which authors will need to register.

Upon notification of acceptance, authors must assign copyright to American Journal of Social Issues and Humanities and provide copyright clearance for any copyrighted material.

Indexing and Abstracting:

American Journal of Social Issues and Humanities is indexed in major global scholarly indexes and databases, some of which include; EBSCOhost, Google Scholar, Electronic Resource, New Jour, Index Copernicus, WorldCat, Open J gate, Ulrich Web, e.t.c

Fees and Publication Charges:

An invoice as the handling fee of US $100 will be billed to the authors as publication fees. AJSIH issues hard copies, ONLY ON SPECIAL REQUEST and together with the publication fees, it costs $200.  Publication of an article in the American Journal of Social Issues and Humanities (AJSIH) is not contingent upon the author's ability to pay the charges. Neither is acceptance to pay the handling fee a guarantee that the paper will be accepted for publication. Under some special circumstances, authors may request in advance that the editorial office waive some of the handling fee.
